Solid Ice Hockey Offers Gamers a Free Subscription to NETSport

Germantown, MD - September 18, 1996 - empire Interactive announced today an agreement between its affiliate, Strategy First, and NETSport, an online sports network. Consumers who purchase Strategy First's debut title, Solid Ice Hockey Hockey, will receive a one year free membership to NETSport, a $24.99 retail value. Solid Ice Hockey will be available September 30th for PC CD-ROM.

The arrangement between the two empire Interactive affiliates, will allow all Solid Ice Hockey owners to receive unlimited access, for one full year, to all the hockey news on NETSport's Internet site. Each issue is packed with news from every team, including updated roosters, game summaries, previews, player interviews, contests and more. Now, all the hockey news a fan could want is just a mouse click away.

Solid Ice Hockey, is pulse pounding hockey action where gamers may go head to head with the superstars of the NHLPA. Strategy First's debut title has it all: bone-jarring body checks, bullet-like slapshots, great glove saves and spectacular goals.
